Interventional Radiology

We do ten thousand Interventional Radiology procedures per year. Our IR nurses provide complete sedation management and physiological care for patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures, which have a very high level of success and minimal complications. We work in a collegial team environment with physicians and surgical technologists.

Our dynamic practice is constantly incorporating new advancements. We're currently doing vascular vessel stenting, uterine fibroid embolization as an alternative to hysterectomy, cancer treatments that place chemotherapy into the artery that feeds a tumor, as well as procedures that place radiation directly into a tumor.
